Startpunkt ist die Kirche in Neuweier. Von dort aus führt an der Gaststätte „Traube“ die Altenbergstraße links hinein in die Reben. Der Weg ist rot gekennzeichnet. Auf geteerten Wegen durch die Reben führt der Weg weiter in den Wald zur Fatimakapelle. Von dort aus geht es steil aufwärts über unbefestigte und zum Teil sehr schmale Waldwege. Bei nassem Wetter kann es durchaus matschig und rutschig sein. Der Weg führt bis zum Burgtorbogen der Yburg auf den Parkplatz der Yburg Gaststätte.
Im Anschluss geht es wieder abwärts über den Parkplatz der Gaststätte hinunter an der Straße entlang bis zum Rebland Waldsportpfad. Dort führt der Weg wieder in den Wald unter Bäumen hindurch abwärts bis man wieder auf die geteerten Wege durch die Reben auf den „Ortenauer Weinpfad“ gelangt. Den roten Schildern folgend gelangt man wieder zur Kirche in Neuweier.
